What I Call “The Lock”

The most frequent questions I get when talking to customers are, “So what do you have and what does it do?”, followed closely by “What is the difference between a beard oil and a beard balm?”. This is true whether its a guy or his wife/girlfriend/mother/aunt/etc. asking the question.

I always start with our beard oil. I let people know in my opinion, it should be the foundation of your beard care platform. That’s why our beard oil sample set is called “The Lock”. It’s a lock; if you’re in anyway interested in looking your best, start with a high quality beard oil.

As I tell our customers, the combination of oils in our formula accomplish two main things. First, it hydrates and nourishes the skin to stave off the flaky, dry, itchy skin that looks and feels awful. Second, it provides all kinds of vitamins and nutrients to the skin and hair, as well as increased blood flow to really get your beard growing.

In my opening I said I tend to the same questions again, and again. It may have given the impression that in some way that’s a bad thing, but to be honest I love it! I love talking to people about the products we make, my personal beard experience and learnings, as well as those shared by our customers. It’s a ton of fun and I’m glad I get to do it on a regular basis.
